Company Automet has been operating on the Polish market since 1989. From the very beginning of its establishment, we have emphasized the necessity of introducing modern technologies of plastic processing, especially in the automotive industry. Owing to constant investments, we have a high-tech machine park at our disposal, and an up-to-date technology for plastic processing applications. Currently, there are 14 departments operating in the Company's structure, in which trimming and assembly processes take place. Our Production Department involves the area of 7500 m2.
Our activity engages four production profiles:
- plastic elements
- bus seats
- injection moulds and master models
- bus conversions of such vehicles like Mercedes, Iveco, VW, Ford, Opel
As one of a few companies operating on the Polish market, we own the official certification for bus conversions' customizations for the following types of vans:
- MB Sprinter
- MB Vario
- Iveco Daily
- VW LT
The converted buses are authorized for road traffic and guarantee a safe and comfortable use. High technical level, top quality of the processed parts, and flexibility in operating have been recognized by many of our domestic and foreign customers.
Modern machine park guarantees us the leading position among other plastic processors in our country.
- In our production, we apply such raw plastic materials like polyesters, epoxies, thermoplastics, foamed polyurethanes, polypropylenes, etc., which we combine with fabrics, foils (PVC, TPO) and metal components.
- We thermoform elements of car interior equipment of such materials like ABS, PS, HDPE, PVC, PP, PMMA, etc.
- We manufacture complex elements, sub-assemblies of which are processed in different technologies, e.g. car floor carpets, armrests, handles, steering wheels, bus mirrors, etc.
More than 5000 elements that are produced in our Company have been applied in automotive, military, medical and furniture-making industries.
Experience gathered during manufacture of polyurethane elements has resulted in a large-scale development of bus seats' production. At present, we are a recognized Polish producer of seats for urban and interurban bus service. Our seats meet the requirements of ECE UNO 14 and ECE UNO 80 regulations.
Our production is supported by a well-qualified and creative engineering team having the latest designing software at its disposal (AutoCAD, ProEngineer), thanks to which we are able to carry out individual projects of our clients.
Apart from that, we own three-axial and five-axial CNC machining centres, and several other machines for mould's trimming.
